New Teachers Honored By Kern County Officials
L. Nelson superintendent of Kern County school district hosted new teachers at Shafter High School. Desert Halloween decor and Hop Ching game entertained 26 guests. High prizes went to Arthur Johnson and Miss Helyn McCormick. Pumpkin pie with whipped cream and coffee were served. Committee members included Mesdames Glenn Nay Arnold Magee Latta Wilson Gates and Janes.
