Agriculture workers to join unemployment insurance system
California will extend unemployment insurance to about 33 000 agricultural employers effective January 1 1976. The first reports and payments are due April 1 1976 for the quarter starting January 1. Employers will still withhold disability insurance from wages and optional state income tax withholding remains.
