Shafter High School agriculture entrants scored heavily at Kern County Fair with 15 prime and 14 choice ratings among 32 steers. Sam Baker and Leroy Kirschenmann displayed Pens of Five with top placings, while individual entries by Baker Bruce Epp Ross Johnson Leroy Kirschenmann Kenneth Roeker Paul Scott Henry Warkentine Jim Wilson and Woody Wilson earned multiple prime and top good Hereford Angus and other breed ratings.
