Final plans for a daytime 250 watt radio station to serve Shafter and Wasco are approved. E. J. Services were held Tuesday at the Pentecostal church for Jess Thomas Thompson killed Sunday when a heart attack struck while driving near Bakersfield. Scales scored on an eight yard run, Edwards added a three yard TD, and a trick play involving John Kelly and Paul Cato produced the final score.
