The Elks Lodge 2419 auxiliary hosts a November fashion show and July fireworks booth with a December event at Save Mart parking lot to fund over 5,000 yearly scholarships. Proceeds support 10 local college scholars, therapists for handicapped children, Community Support Options, Rose Festival queen candidate funds, Shafter Convalescent Hospital and other groups. Ann McCright produced the event. Pat Hutson directed.
