Shafter Lions Club holds its Turkey Shoot Sunday at 8 a.m. three miles south on Enos Lane. Kern County Economic Opportunities Commission distributes commodities Thursday Nov 16 in Shafter and Buttonwillow with pick up at 1:30 p.m. at 131 E St Buttonwillow.
