Sergeant Serves As Medical Aide in Korean Conflict
Army Sgt. Claude L. Voth, son of Mrs. Mary E. Voth, Route 1, Box 127 D, Shafter, serves as aidman with the 120th Medical Battalion. The unit received the Meritorious Unit Commendation for outstanding medical support with the 45th Infantry in Korea. Voth arrived in Korea last March after enlisting in August 1952 and completing basic training at Camp Pickett. He is a 1952 Monterey Bay Academy graduate in Watsonville.
