Modern Market Expands Meat Department in Shafter
John and Ted French unveil a modern expanded meat department at Modern Market in Shafter. The store features a doubled display area, large grinders, cube steak machines, and two center meat blocks to custom-cut per customer. A milk bar, Red Riding Hood contest, and broadened grocery stock accompany seven-day hours from 8am to 7pm.
