Two Shafter youths injured in Riverside Street collision
Three Shafter residents were involved in a traffic crash on October 25 at 4 50 p m on Riverside Street near Poplar Avenue. Donald J Webb 18 and Michael Wilson Jr 24 rode a westbound motorcycle that collided with a Toyota pickup driven by fate adult 47. Webb and Wilson sustained major injuries while the Toyota driver had minor injuries. No arrests were reported. Earlier that day a Buttonwillow incident killed 45 year old Ana Maria Lara of Corcoran when her Freightliner collided with a Malibu driven by Juanita Reyes. The crash closed Wasco Way for about six hours. Reyes and a 6 year old were unharmed the 4 year old had minor injuries.
