Homecoming for cotton research at USDA station
The second annual Homecoming and Recognition Day at the USDA Cotton Research Station on Shafter Avenue was held Friday October 24 at 3 p.m during a coffee break. Lyle Carter location coordinator led the Recognition Day ceremony. Bob Thullen Fay Stiles and Joe Chesson received 20 year awards for administrative management outstanding accounting and purchasing and coupons. Fay Stiles Lindau Joyce Bender Brian Horne received certificates and a $1000 check for the computer data system work. Present and former staff members enjoyed refreshments after the ceremony.
