Solar energy conference at Bakersfield College in November
A half day conference on architecture and solar energy titled Our Rising Star The Sun will be held at Bakersfield College on November 5. It is presented by the BC office of community services with the Kern Solar Energy Society and features experts including Peter McKay Mel Dutton Dennis Beaver and Paolo Soleri. Registration costs 2 and sessions cover solar mechanics passive systems and urban arcologies with Cosanti Foundation research referenced. Scholarly talks outline long term urban solutions and energy planning.
