Rocks and fossils spark curiosity at Richland Activity Center
Students and public viewed rare rocks and minerals from multiple clubs at the Richland School Activity Center. Ismael Sanchez lectured on geological formations as Dana Starrh and Andreina Flores explored displays. The exhibit highlighted a 35 million year old tortoise shell and jaw models, with vendors selling polished stone jewelry and a life sized 15 million year old shark jaw at Kern County items.
