Mrs. Louie Jarrard says her son Richard L. Abbot and daughter-in-law will come to Shafter the first week of June. Mrs. Abbot, from Hamburg Germany, has not met her year-old grandson Richard Jr. since his birth. Abbot, stationed in Germany with the US Army at the Communications center, will depart May 29 from Germany and travel by car after a May 29 flight to New York. They are expected to arrive June 6 in Shafter.
