Kern Academy Grade Schoolers Give Program
Kern Academy pupils performed a multi part program at the academy assembly hall last Saturday evening. The lineup included trumpet solos, readings, dialogues, and songs by sixth and third grade students. The event featured "Helpers In Our Town" and "Court Convenes in Health City" dialogues with wide participation. A patriotic segment closed the program with songs by several students. Teachers credited were Miss Pauline Largent and others. About $40 was collected for grades one through six. January apple shipments from Yakima and Wenatchee were down from last year.
