Shafter City Council Approves Taxi Franchise and Repairs
The Shafter City Council approved a taxi for hire license for Antonio Penuclas after an internal fitness review found no disqualifying factors. Funding was authorized for the Revitalizations director to oversee pools and for concrete fountain forms by Ray Hollibaugh, with trellis improvements and Bronco Electric negotiations ongoing. The taxi stand will sit in the city hall parking lot beside the regional transit pickup area.
