Homemaker Program assists seniors at home in Kern County
Kern Around the Clock runs the Homemaker Program funded by the Kern County Department of Aging and Adult Services. Volunteers provide housekeeping errands and some personal care at no fee, on a sliding scale based on income. Coordinators avoid risky tasks, and services require planning with physicians for personal care. For info contact Stacie Dollar at 324-4277 or toll free 877-223-2825.
