Relatives report Joe Doyle Smith 82 Shafter farm worker killed in a head on collision in New Mexico Saturday. His wife Lou and their four young children severely injured. A collision on the Central Valley highway near Shafter injured three people. William C. Foster, 63, of Bakersfield, and his wife Johnie were treated locally and then taken to Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield.
