City proposes 70.8 percent water rate hike in Shafter
City council on Tuesday March 19 discussed a 70.8 percent water rate increase to fund maintenance and future storage and outlying-area supply. Kern County holds workshops on public comment for fee hikes
Public workshops across Kern County from March 25 to April 4 invite residents to comment on proposed increases in service and permit fees.
