Healthy Start TERT Receives Four Thousand Dollar Grant
Shafter Healthy Start earned a 4000 Strong Families Mini Grant from the Department of Human Services to aid families with hygiene kits car seats and children’s items. The program partners with the Public Health Department to run Mommy and Me nutrition classes and a car seat safety class taught by Public Health Nurse Carol Rush.
