Adult PE Class Schedule Changes At Shafter High
Ver Nash announces changes to the adult fitness program at Shafter High School starting March 14. The adult physical education class moves to Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm with openings remaining in the art and sewing classes. English as a Second Language offers sessions Tue Wed Thu 7 to 9 pm in Room 13 with space available. A volleyball league info session is planned during the March 14 class.

Bake sale supports La Leche League in Shafter region
La Leche League in the Delano Watco Shafter area will hold a bake sale on Saturday March 18 from 9 30 a m to 1 00 p m in front of Safeway Shafter. Funds raise for printed information sheets from La Leche League International books for the library and continued leader training. Special treats include Sesame Street cookies Grandmother's candied orange peel bread prune cake and decorated Easter cupcakes.
