Director Seth Gordon of the Department of Fish and Game says there is no hunting accident and that all incidents must be reported to district attorneys for action. Since the law took effect on Sept. 9, 1953, more than 50 shootings have occurred, though many injuries are personal safety related or involve unknown shooters. The measure requires DA action to revoke licenses and makes licensees who apply after revocation felons.
