Bloodmobile extends bid prize contest to local Boy Scouts

26 Shafter Horses to Santa Anita Spring Meeting
A total of 26 harness racing horses will be sent to Santa Anita for the Western Harness Racing Association spring meeting by Shafter’s standard bred trio S A Camp, Robert Neuman and William Lachenmaier. Shafter Wasco farmers will pay 4.50 per acre foot for Central valley water this year as the Shafter Wasco Irrigation District announces. The district plans 7000 acre feet from the government and says Wasco area portions of the system will be completed this spring. John J. Office hours shift to 8 to 5 and a search for a field superintendent was authorized to oversee outside operations and rate calculations.
