Cadet Corps Banquet Marks Year End for Shafter Unit
About 90 cadets and 100 auxiliary members attended a banquet in Kern Academy cafeteria for the Shafter Unit of the S C A Medical Cadet Corps. Chaplain L S Melendy and officers led a program featuring duets, readings, solos, and a prophesy. Graduation is set for March at Adventist Church. Public demonstrations are planned at Kern Academy. The unit, national in scope, began seven years ago in anticipation of war.
