Kiddie Kollege Preschool Enrichment at Mennonite Church
The Shafter Kiddie Kollege run by the Mennonite Brethren Church at 400 Kern Street offers a two group preschool program for ages 2 to 5. Directed by Helen Gaede the center emphasizes social skills, color and shapes, with a daily routine of flag salute storytime art and play labs including a housekeeping room and a mess-free discovery area. Parents praise its Christian focus and readiness for kindergarten with field trips such as a visit to the Fire Department and observed social growth in their children.
