Pair Arrested in Connection With Dr Worden Burglary
Two men Ernest James Mackey and Henry Davis Lane both of Los Angeles were jailed in Kern county after a Field patrol officer stopped their car near Buttonwillow. The luggage revealed stolen items from Dr Worden's Main Street offices including a adding machine typewriter radio clock and other articles. Additional Saturday thefts included a gas station battery and 350 pounds of brass fittings from Taft Jackson Oilfield Supply Company.
