SHS expands summer school with eight courses offered
SHS and area teens enroll in a six week session directed by Joe Dominguez with two sections core curriculum and proficiency. Core options include five math classes such as algebra and rate of change. Classes run 7 45 am to 12 15 pm Monday through Friday, replacing a full school year’s hours with 50 fewer contact hours but viewed as a positive transition for incoming freshmen.
