Rules aimed at deer hunting in California this year
The Department of Fish and Game warns that some hunters may miss the key step to hunt deer in 1978. Despite distributing 750,000 maps and regulations to 3,400 license agents, the deer tag application ritual remains essential. Directors urge visiting a license agent to pick up a 1978 deer map, study zones and regulations, then apply for one or two deer tags and mail the completed forms.
