DeLuxe Barber Shop Reopens After Minor Fire Damage
The DeLuxe Barber Shop in Shafter reopened in normal operation after a minor fire over the weekend caused no lasting damage. Boots Perry and Tip Henderson opened the shop on May 25, 1948, located between Safeway and a real estate office on Central Avenue, featuring modern interior and new equipment including a shampoo rinsing system.
