Three Killed When Southern Pacific Owl Strikes Car
At 12 18 Monday morning a private road crossing south of Lerdo was the site of a fatal accident when a car was struck by a Southern Pacific Owl train. Three people died instantly: Alonzo Braddy 28 Julius Marcellus Bradyd 18 and an unidentified girl. Julius Braddy worked at Al Finkbeiner's Service Station and was son of Mr and Mrs R B Braddy. His cousin Alonzo Brady was son of Mr and Mrs Les Braddy and survived by wife and six children. The Braddy families have long resided in the community.
