Richland Junior High Dedicates New Building Arch
The Richland Junior High dedication Monday evening drew about 200 people to honor the new building with its historic arch replacing classrooms and offices lost in a fire April 30. Richland School District Superintendent Vera Stone presided. The program featured the Richland Cadet Band and flag twirlers, Cub Scout Troop 913, Fr. Christopher of St. Mark's Episcopal, Lisa Hooser as student council president, and Janeen Smith praising teachers and the 13 years before the fire. The choir conducted by Mark Reppert performed The Way We Were.
