Kern Scouts Plan Summer Camp Near Lebec
Twenty nine Kern County Council Boy Scouts have registered for the annual camp conducted with Ventura County Council at the Three Falls Scout reservation, twenty miles west of Lebec. Enrolment max is 64 per period. Fees are eight dollars weekly. First period opens with seventeen Scouts. Kern arrivals Saturday afternoon and Ventura on Sunday. One truck will handle all transportation.

More than 2500 delegates from cities including Los Angeles Bakersfield Roseville Shafter Dinuba Reedley Lodi San Jose Fresno Winton Madera Orland and the K M B church gathered for the Mennonite Brethren California Dinuba event. The Rev H D Wiebe spoke on home missions and the Sunday services featured much music by the Shafter choir. Funds raised included nearly $600 for the American Red Cross and $446 for foreign missions.
