Minimizing ATV Impact with Practical Outdoor Etiquette

Aimed at 16 million riders, guidelines from Bureau of Land Management and Tread Lightly urge riding on designated areas, staying mid trail, fording streams at points, crossing at 90 degrees, avoiding apex roosting on switchbacks, moderating throttle on slick trails, packing out trash, washing gear to deter weeds, proper waste disposal, and taking safety courses.
