Community Pool Works and Local Sports Update
Last week the main pool resumed operations with the children's pool repaired for use by families. Over 150 students enjoyed a morning swim during summer school. The Shafter Stingrays return to their own pool for practice after using Wasco and Rio Bra. About 260 to 270 participated in soft ball and baseball this year across five Titus teams four Minor Girls four Minor Boys three Major Girls and five Major Boys. Standings list multiple sponsors and local clubs including Gerald Ford Trucking Holiday Ford Bloemhof Farms Composting Richland Chevrolet R & D Electric Shafter Rotary Shafter Kiwanis Club Stringham's Shafter Drug and Steve Smith Trucking.
