Strengths of a Christian in bearing disappointments
A Christian can bear disappointments because his heart is not filled with envy. He does not to time or energy on useless regret but goes on to the next may not be due to his added physical strength, but rather that he has someone to share his burdens. We know that God is with us whatever our burden is. We do not carry it alone. He undergirds and Strengthens us. A Christian can carry heavy burdens because he knows he does not carry it, alone. A Christian can bear sorrow. Life is seldom easy. Sorrow comes to all of us and to some more than others. Our experiences test our hearts almost daily. It really is not a ques tion of going on as we all have to go on. The question that faces us is, with what spirit shall we go on?
