Shafter Independence Day Fireworks Shine Over Centennial Night
Shafter marked its 100th birthday with the annual Independence Day Fireworks Show at Shafter High School. Gates opened at 6:00 p.m. as families enjoyed games, bounce houses, and food before a grand finale of choreographed lights and explosions. Community groups and local companies supported the free event with donations welcomed at the gate.
