CALM at Kern River offers immersive wildlife loop
Visitors at the California Living Museum CALM along the Kern River can explore a self guided loop featuring desert and mountain regions, native mammals birds and reptiles. Highlights include ground squirrels birds of prey and a large prehistoric fossil display. The 3/4 acre Birds of Prey area and a desert tortoise exhibit showcase ongoing development with an admission of 2.54 for adults and 1.50 for children.
