City volunteers run agency meetings with no pay
Shafter officials and volunteers from the City Council and Community Development Agency discuss selling Agency owned property at Lerdo Highway and Beech Avenue. Re Max Realty proposes a $100,900 sale for an upscale restaurant and office complex, while Wise Realty proposes a three business complex under one roof. No sale decisions made as board questions arose over parcel division costs and a six percent realtor fee.
