American Freedom Under Attack, Adventists Warn
George Mayer of the Shafter Seventh-day Adventist church warns Americans that freedom is eroding through looming Sunday laws and civil enforcement of religious practice. He calls for a nationwide fundraising drive by the Adventist General Conference to educate citizens and defend religious liberty. Religious Liberty Day is set for January 21 with Liberty Magazine and related initiatives. Mr and Mrs Gilbert Pfeifle of Menno, South Dakota, dined with the Mettlers at Bakersfield Country Club.
