Burglaries Hit Shafter Businesses Across Two Nights
A Shafter Sweet Shop on Central Valley Highway was burglarized December 18 at 5 30 am with a broken glass door and stolen cash register. $1 200 loss including parts and glass. On Christmas morning Generals Headquarters near Lerdo Highway and Highway 99 was broken into at 1 25 am. front window shattered but register empty. Police review surveillance as investigation continues.
