Employee shares experience from robbery at Meyer's Big Stop
Meyer's Big Stop employee recounts a December Friday night robbery by four masked gunmen who forced entry around 7:20 p.m. and stole over $2,000 from the safe. Police call it one of Shafter’s largest robberies as they investigate two remaining suspects. The clerk stayed calm, avoiding heroics after hearing the demand to stay still.
