A Little Girl Fulfills Dream With Parfait Paint Farm

Gail Monk and her family nurture a growing stable of American Paint Horses at Parfait Paint Farm west of Shafter. The project began when Gail purchased Parfait, a hunter and jumper, after years of lessons and a hopeful wish for Olympic riding. Now the Monks raise 15 paints and quarter horses, breed to champion Spot Chance, and actively show across California while Gail serves as junior club treasurer and Charles as club president.
