Harold Freedman a Life of Service in Shafter and Kern County
Harold Freedman, born 1932, served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, later practiced medicine in Shafter with partners Jake Jacobus and Russ Kodet. He retrained in physiatry at UC Davis, became Kern Medical Center Chief of Staff, and led Sabin polio vaccination drives before retiring. He died Feb 16 2013 at age 99, survived by daughters Margaret and Charlotte, and many relatives.
