Reunion planned for North High 1956 and 1957 classes
A joint twenty five year reunion for the North High School 1956 and 1957 graduates is planned for Saturday July 18 1981 at Rio Bravo Tennis Club. The two classes were the school’s first graduating and full four year class. Bakersfield rally to back Wycliffe helicopter project
Translators Don Richardson, author and lecturer, will headline a special rally in Bakersfield at the Trice Harvey Auditorium February 28 at 7:00 P.M. The event, sponsored by Wycliffe Bible Translators, will feature missionary films Mountain of Light and Peace Child and aims to raise support for assembling a helicopter in North Carolina to aid Bible translators in remote Papua New Guinea areas. Local Kern County groups back the effort as transport times to reach remote villages could be reduced from days to hours.
