Shafter Council Advances Tract Map 4864 and Data System Bid
The Shafter City Council approved Tentative Tract Map 4864 for 82 lots after no public participation at the hearing. They reapproved the map originally issued in March 1986. Also approved seeking bids for a data processing system to replace the current outside contractor at 1600 monthly, with an estimated total cost of 75000. A special meeting is planned at the Shafter Veterans Hall at 7 PM on February 21 to discuss annexation.
