Shafter High Students Prepare For Mock Trial Competition
About 14 Shafter High students take part in the seventh Kern County Mock Trial Competition, a countywide program to simulate a criminal case on free expression and drug use. Judges from local courts and attorneys oversee rounds, with finals Feb 25 at Isfield Superior Courts.
