Shafter considers annexing Eckmann Tract to city limits
The Shafter City Council proposes annexing the Eckmann Tract an uninhibited territory in Kern County to expand growth. A public hearing is set for March 11 1957 with protests in writing required by owners of affected land. Notices will publish in Shafter Press and Wasco News at least twenty days before the hearing while mailings go to landowners and involved districts.
