Kern County Potato Growers Plan Meeting on Ceilings

The Kern County Potato Growers Association calls a 7:30 p.m. meeting at Shafter Memorial Hall for all potato producers and industry members. Fred D. Patterson says the session will review reports from Washington area representatives who attended the National Potato Council meeting and worked with the Office of Price Stabilization on revised potato ceiling price regulations. He notes the group felt a written report alone was inadequate and allowed questions. Attendees from this area include E. J. Peters, J. G. Jacobsen, Don Camp, Don Maupin, and John McSweeny.
