Vacuum truck fire after explosion at Aero oil facility
Firefighters respond to a Jan 24 blaze near Hwy 33 and Lost Hills Rd at an Aero oil facility. Twenty five crews including five HazMat personnel battled an established fire that consumed a vacuum truck and spread to a loading rack, controlled in under 90 minutes. No injuries reported. Driver Sam Arviso and wife Penny credit luck. Arviso unhurt aside from a singed mustache and lost items. Investigation ongoing.

Parade of Lights Colors Festival Parade at Mannel Park
The second annual Parade of Lights for the Colours Festival of the Arts will be held at Mannel Park at 6 15 pm on February 25. Vehicles decorated with Christmas lights are welcome including tractors and other farm equipment. Groups such as youth teams and church groups are invited to ride on trailers.
