Fire destroys Shafter shed amid fog and flames
A packing shed at 190 Commercial Drive in Shafter burned Sunday night, leaving a total loss after firefighters battled for over an hour in heavy fog. Greg Malory of Wasco owned the shed. five paid firefighters and 10 volunteers fought the blaze as two police officers assisted. The incident remains under investigation.
