USDA Again Urges Acreage Cut in Potato Crop
The USDA reported November 3 that 1965 fall potato supplies will carry over into 1966, as the Potato Growers Association of California notes. It urges producers to reduce acreage to strengthen market position, with a 17 percent cut proposed for California from 54,400 acres to 45,070.

Enterline Serves Army in Germany During Victory Express Exercise
Army Specialist Four Charles R. Enterline, 24, with the 24th Infantry in Germany, participates in Exercise Victory Express a nine day field training event ending December 17. The drill covers 1500 square miles with 25 000 troops and 6 000 vehicles. Elements of the 3rd Infantry Division Brigade act as aggressors testing the 24th Division under simulated combat.
